Chocolate “Birthday”

Ingredients
- 36 Chocolate Spoons
- Chocolate Cake
- 1 cup AP Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- ⅓ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 T Baking Powder
- ½ T Baking Soda
- ½ T Salt
- 1 T Expresso Powder
- ½ Cup Milk
- ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 T Vanilla Extract
- ½ Cup Boiling Water
- Green Buttercream Frosting
- ½ T Turbinado Cane Sugar
- Wax Candles
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 2 “NY Cake Silicone Oval 16 cavities – found on Amazon” with Baking Spray
- Mix dry ingredients in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment until thoroughly combined
- Add Milk, Oil, Egg, and Vanilla until fully incorporated
- Carefully add Boiling Water
- Once fully combined transfer to silicone cavities with a small scoop filling each halfway
- Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool completely and transfer to a the bowl of each Chocolate Spoon
- Garnish cutlery with the Buttercream using a pastry bag with a 5 star tip
- Garnish with Turbinado Sugar
- Insert wax candles through middle of cake and light when ready
